Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Yamilee Nápoles

Dr. Yamilee Nápoles is a bilingual Licensed Psychologist joining Dr. Wooten to serve the needs of our community.  She earned her doctorate degree from the University of Indianapolis in Indiana in 2017 and completed her post-doctorate fellowship at a private neuropsychology practice in Lewisville, Texas.

 Dr. Nápoles  has cultivated a range of professional experiences in group therapy and individual counseling of adolescents and adults. She has worked in a partial hospitalization program, outpatient services and in-home settings and has conducted assessments for a juvenile detention center and residential center. 

Dr. Nápoles uses a combination of treatment approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and existential therapy to customize a treatment plan for each client. Her treatment strategy is based on 2 types of research: 1) what the scientific literature says is helpful in treating a disorder, and 2) what your personal experiences say are helpful.

Dr.  Wooten additional enlists her help in providing psychological testing in more complex evaluations.


We are pleased to have Dr. Nápoles join our location, extending more services and assistance in the care and treatment in our community.     

Things to Know

Dr. Nápoles is currently NOT accepting new patients.

  • Individual Therapy (English or Spanish)
  • Age ranges: 18+ 
  • Concentration: Individuals with depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and ADHD
  • Gender dysphoria: Assessment,  recommendation letter for HRT or gender confirmation surgery or therapy (not conversion therapy, but allow individual to explore their identity) 
  • A LGBTQ+ safe space
  • Insurance: BCBS PPO, Aetna PPO and self-pay (please check your benefit plan for telehealth benefits)
  • Payment: Credit Card (TSYS processing), Check or cash
  • Member: American Psychological Association


Monday: 9AM - 6PM

Tuesday: 9AM - 6PM

Thursdays: 10AM - 1PM

Practice Status: Mental Health is considered as essential services at this time.  Please contact the office regarding appointments.
